Meet The Miracle IVF Team

Irem Berk graduated from the Faculty of Engineering with the highest degree in 2005. After completing her 2-year master’s degree in 2007, she developed her expertise through numerous seminars and obtaining certificates, mainly in France and Turkey.

Irem has worked as the Senior IVF Patient Coordinator since 2011. She prides herself on meeting every patient who chooses North Cyprus and our specialist Dr. Firdevs, in order to have a baby. She ensures the IVF journey, which can be difficult and emotionally exhausting, is as relaxed and pressure free as possible.

During treatment, Irem supports couples in every area, from medication use to pre-treatment testing and results, providing psychological support to our patients during treatment and beyond. Irem is fluent in English and Turkish.

After graduating from Çorlu Mehmet Akif Ersoy Anatolian High School with a focus on English and Mathematics, she completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at Eskişehir Osmangazi University, achieving high academic standing in just three years. Subsequently, she pursued her master’s degree in Histology and Embryology at the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Basic Medical Sciences, at the same university. She further honed her expertise by successfully completing the training and examination for the position of “Clinical Embryologist Laboratory Manager” at Ankara Gazi University, earning the title of “Senior Embryologist.”

Over the years, she has served as a Founding Member and Laboratory Manager Senior Embryologist in numerous clinics across Turkey, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Uzbekistan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Engaging in both research and educational endeavors, she has contributed to various scientific studies and mentored numerous students at high school and university levels, as well as guiding the professional development of many junior embryologists.

Presently, she continues to uphold the role of Laboratory Manager Senior Embryologist at our clinic, bringing forth a wealth of experience and a track record of success.

Born in Famagusta, North Cyprus. A hard working member of our Miracle IVF team, embryologist Ayşe Liman, received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Genetics at the University of Nottingham, one of the leading universities in the UK.

After her university graduation she completed her Master’s degree at the Institute of Neurology and Genetics in South Cyprus.

She joined our team as an embryologist after working in numerous IVF centres. Her experience in cell and embryo freezing and embryology processes make her one of the key members of our team.

Canan Maya Gökdoğan ist in Istanbul geboren aber hat eine Deutsche Mutter und hat ihre Ausbildung auch unter anderem in Istanbul Studiert. Anschließend hat sie in einem Deutschen Krankenhaus als Ausländischer Patientenbetreuer gearbeitet. Und ist jetzt seit 2021 bei uns in Miracle IVF Center als Deutsche Patientenkoordinatorin.Sie spricht auch fließend Englisch. Canan Maya hat ein Kind und betreut unsere Patienten von Anfag der Behandlung bis zum Abschluss des Prozesses.

After graduating, Theresa successfully completed her studies in International Business and Foreign Economics in 2015. She originally comes from a small wine village in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany and lives today with her small family on our beautiful island of Cyprus. She is a proud mother and has always had a special interest in children. She worked as a child minder for many years and gained practical experience during various internships at paediatrician clinics and at the various newborn clinics.

Theresa has been taking care of our German speaking patients since 2016. Since she is German herself, you no longer have to worry about a language barrier or miscommunication. Theresa is always happy to welcome patients from her home country and to accompany them during their treatment at Cyprus Miracle IVF. Theresa will not only be your first contact at Cyprus Miracle IVF, she will also assist you until the birth of your little miracle. Her goal is to make the stay as comfortable as possible for each Miracle IVF patient and to give the patient a feeling of security, even when away from home. In addition to German she speaks fluent English and can also help with inquiries in Spanish.

Sezish studied Mathematics and Economics at university and then received her Master’s degree in Finance from Texas A&M University. For the past 15 years, she has worked in the USA, UK and Cyprus, mostly in the non-profit sector and more recently working in the private sector in roles ranging from public relations, events, projects and management.

Sezish is fluent in English and she has worked as an international patient coordinator at Miracle IVF Cyprus since 2018.

My name is Toni, and I’m one of the International Patient Coordinators. I’m originally from Leeds in the UK but lived in Manchester for 16 years and then moved to North Cyprus in 2019. I have worked in the recruitment and charity sectors as an administrator and have over 10 years experience in this field.

I have personally been through IVF a number of times and in 2017 my husband and I welcomed our own little Miracle IVF boy into the world, with the help of Dr. F and her team. I am able to truly support patients from start to finish and fully understand the emotional roller coaster that is IVF.

I’m happy to answer any questions you may have and I’m happy to share my journey with you. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you through your journey.

After having worked as a lawyer, Jess successfully completed her PhD in Human Rights and continued her career as a legal researcher. Her growing interest in human psychology allowed her to fit in nicely with Miracle IVF Cyprus, as her research is now focused on ‘the role of mother’s psychology in developing a child’s self-confidence’. Jess is fluent in English and she can also communicate in French when needed. Her understanding, empathy and compassionate care will help turn your IVF journey into a memorable experience.

Born in Avellino, Italy, Susy worked as a translator, interpreter and an Italian and Latin tutor. After her university degree in Modern Languages and Literature at the University of Salerno, she achieved her Master’s degree in Creative Writing and Publishing at the University of Suor Orsola Benincasa in Naples. She improved her education by attaining a Certificate in Translation and Interpreting.

In addition to Italian, her native language, she speaks fluent English and Turkish, and has a good knowledge of French. After her studies, she worked as a columnist in a local newspaper for one year. In 2000 she moved to Istanbul where she started working as a private tutor, teaching Italian and Latin mostly to the students of the High School “Liceo Galileo Galilei” in Istanbul.

She also collaborated with a columnist of the Turkish newspaper Hürriyet, Sahrap Soysal writing several articles about traditional South Italian Cuisine. Her passion for learning has led her to attend new and different courses and seminars, such as: storytelling, photography and painting. She lives in Kyrenia, North Cyprus and has done since August 2017.

Evrim Attila was born in Istanbul and was educated there, including going to the University in Istanbul. She then went abroad to study engineering. After her engineering education graduation, she worked for many years at various companies in high-level and high-responsibility positions such as management.

As one of the effective members of our team, Evrim Attila has been working as a Turkish Patient Coordinator for Miracle IVF Centre, since 2016. She also speaks fluent English. Evrim Attila is married with two children, and provides psychological support to our patients from the beginning of the treatment until completion of the process.
